TSHHRAE Wage and Benefit Survey

PARTICIPATE IN THE 2008 SURVEY

All organizations must pay competitive salaries in the market place if they intend to attract and retain qualified employees. The salary survey is still the most effective way to determine salary levels. Since 1995, Werling Associates, Inc. has conducted the most comprehensive wage and benefit surveys.

We are inviting you to participate in the 2008 Texas Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration and Education (TSHHRAE) Wage and Benefit Survey. The survey provides a thorough analysis of job-specific compensation data; thus providing organizations the ability to make reliable and equitable financial decisions. Last year's survey included comprehensive wage data on 345 jobs from 113 organizations. Available is a brochure with detailed information on the 2008 survey, a sample list of the jobs to be surveyed for 2008, and a survey questionnaire for review and participation.

REPORT
The final report provides the job number, job title, job description, experience,

minimum education or certification, exempt or nonexempt status, and average bonus. Data includes the number or organizations reporting data, the total number of employees, the weighted average of the actual wages, minimum and maximum pay, the 25th and the 75th percentile of the actual wages, the weighted average pay range and the hourly shift differential. The final report provides aggregated information and all individual participant data is kept confidential. The data is presented in an easy-to-read format and instructions for data interpretation are also included. All wage data is reported in accordance with Department of Justice wage survey guidelines, results are provided where at least five organizations reported wage data.

Remember, participation does not create an obligation to purchase the survey; however, the final report is available to participants at a discounted rate. Please consider participating in the survey regardless of intent to purchase the final report. Contributing to the survey process helps other organizations make equitable pay decisions within their own organizations and creates greater reliability in pay systems around the state of Texas.

PURCHASING INFORMATION
Participate by March 7, 2008 to be included in the 2008 TSHHRAE Wage and Benefit Survey. All participants receive a discount versus the non-participant cost. To only purchase, the survey select the Order Form above. The final report will be sent on May 8, 2008.
